logoFaberandBrandOur office has been working with you to help beta test ServeX™ since December of last year, and let me be the first to say that we are really impressed.

ServeX™ has revolutionized how we send jobs to our Process Servers. In the past, we would simply mail the service to the Process Server. The Process Server would then have to enter the job in their system and then we would have to wait until the Process Server had time to update us on the status of the service. Sometimes it would be a phone call initiated by us and sometimes we would get their update in the mail along with an invoice for their services. However, now with the help of ServeX™ we are able to electronically upload that service directly into our Process Server's software, although in most cases we still have to mail the actual service papers to the Process Server. It is once the job has been uploaded to ServeX™ that the magic starts to happen. Every time we run the ServeX™ File & Serve interface, Q-law automatically downloads status of service, any comments made by the Process Server as well as copies of the actual Affidavit of Service the intend to file and an invoice for services. Once the download has finished into Q-law, the details of the service are imported into the Service Detail window of the legal window. Also, based on the type of service that is returned to Q-law, we have many different tasks setip to be auto-loaded in conjunction with the DDAS system.

ServeX™ has been a tremendous program for our law firm; it has reduced a significant portion of labor that we had devoted to 'service' issues and helps us get closer to the automation we all want out of our software. We will definitely be requiring all of our Process Servers to use software that is compatible with ServeX™.

We have been amazed by how much time, effort and money that Serve-X has already saved our firm. Since we implemented Serve-X, phone calls and website inquiries to obtain status and serve information from the process server that would normally interrupt the workflow of our staff, have basically been eliminated. Serve-X also makes sending jobs to the process server effortless. Our staff is able to send the data and documents needed for service and track the process every step of the way. Receiving information and documents from our process server into our individual case files within our litigation software system has drastically reduced the labor intensive costs associated in many departments at our firm. When proofs of service and invoice charges are received from the process server we are able to move to the next step a great deal quicker, once again streamlining the workflow in our office.

logoKryptoniteAs you know, I have been working with Q-law since December of last year helping to beta test your newest creation, Serve-X™. Serve-X™'s interaction with Process Server's Toolbox (PST) has cut my data entry time in half. Thanks to Serve-X™, 90% of my jobs are electronically imported directly from my Client's (the Attorney's office) Q-law software straight into the PST software. This process takes minutes to complete, instead of taking sometimes literally minutes per file for entry. After the import is completed, I only need to review the import and assign each job a server and verify an address for service. Serve-X™ helps out on the flip-side as well. After my jobs are completed, I am now able to upload the status of each service, and deliver an electronic copy of the Affidavit of Service and Invoice straight to the Q-law software with my Client.

As we all know, time is money and this addition to Q-law has found a way to literally create more time in the day.
